Sprint Airave

Watch out T-Mobile, your Hotspot @ Home might not be so hot. Sprint recently launched their Sprint Airave service. For a person like myself who is currently a Sprint customer and uses their cell phone as a primary telephone this new service looks very interesting.

  1. Niceness. However, CDMA is getting old, and Hotspot @ Home uses wifi, so that leaves me waiting for a GSM version.

  2. Thats true, Hotspot @ Home does use WIFI. But think about this, you need a special phone that supports WIFI and not every phone does. In fact the keyword there is special since very few phones have WIFI, my Windows Mobile Smartphone wouldn’t even do the trick.

Airave requires nothing special, you can use whatever sprint phone you want.
