Ugh.

December 1st, 2006 by Markus Langenfeld

It has been a very long week, I’m happy to see it come to an end. I just want to sit around the house and do nothing right now. It seems that if I’m not working or something on the weekend, I’m out somewhere or some event is going on. I might say this every weekend, but it will be nice to have some time to myself.

I try to bring myself to blog about something but it seems nothing out of the ordinary ever happens, well except for maybe what’s going on right now. For some reason when I try to go to Google.com, it brings me to Google.co.uk. I’ve tried different DNS IPs, different IPs from my ISP, other computers on the network, other browsers, settings, etc… Nothing seems to work, and it’s such an off the wall issue.

That’s how most of my problems in life are though. Even if it’s something small and dumb, it has to be something that no force in the world can troubleshoot. It’s ironic because I deal random issues all day long, that’s basically my job. I figure out problems that rarely seem to have a cause. There’s no manual, no script, it’s a lot of guesswork and frustration and somehow I can normally pull it off…

Why is it so difficult to troubleshoot myself? I am my own kryptonite.
