Meleagris Gallopavo Epoch

I came across an away message that said to refrain from calling today ‘Turkey Day’, so I did this post’s title all fancy like.

My Thanksgiving went over well, I had the chance to spend the day with my family and such, I don’t get to do that too often anymore it seems. I ate food, watched the sporting events on television, I think they call it “Foot Ball”, but I could be mistaken.

I’m now back in my office, stuffed with bird, basking in the soft glow of the LCDs, typing up a post about my last few hours up to the point of me typing about what I’m currently typing…

Anyway, speaking of offices, it’s a bummer that I have to go back into work tomorrow; I had to fight just to get the morning off for Black Friday. I’ll be at Best Buy bright and early at around 3:00am to take advantage of the insane deals. I plan to get a good portion of my Christmas shopping started along with a couple little gifts for myself. I’m actually getting quite a few items that I know will be of limited supply, so I want to be one of the first in line when the doors open at 5:00am.

I can’t decide if I want to attempt to go to bed really early, like right about now… Or I could just not go to bed at all. To me little sleep is far worse then no sleep; I have problems getting up with the normal 7 ½ hours I normally get as it is. I have to figure something out though; the grouping of stores I want to visit is about an hour away, which means I’ll have to be up at like 2.

At least it will only be like a half day tomorrow, then another 2 days to get some R&R. That’s really what I want to do this weekend, nothing at all. I’ve been real busy lately and sadly I’m starting to miss out on the simple joy of watching a movie, or calling a friend back in reference to a voice mail message that was left days ago, for that matter. Sorry guys, I’ll drop a line soon…

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!!

  2. Yes mam. I picked up some great deals but it was nuts. These two kids were trying to sell Best Buy Item Tickets in the line, next thing you know their fighting eachother and all of these cops run in and throw them out. A couple hours before, this guy freaked out on me, he thought I was trying to cut in line.

I spent about $420.00 on Black Friday, I got a good start on my Christmas shopping.
