Parties, Skunks, and TPS Reports.

November 1st, 2006 by Markus Langenfeld

It has been a struggle to stay caught up with everything lately. I only get a few short hours of free time every night and the last thing I want to do is sit in front of a computer screen after being on a computer for 9 hours at work. We have just an endless array of projects going down too so I’m starting to take work or at least time consuming brainstorm sessions about work, home with me. I’m not complaining however, I still have yet to submit a real complaint about this place… It almost seems like I’ve made a bet with myself about work related complaints, I won’t let myself win… or lose… wait…

Anyway, when I’m not speeding to get to work in the morning (I’m always late) or speeding back home in the evening (I must maximize my free time; every minute spent driving is wasted!) I’ve been busy with various social functions, cleaning, catching up on things or some other project that doesn’t involve me lying in bed in front of my TV and/or laptop.

It isn’t all bad though. Last night I attended an open house / Halloween party at a new home in which a couple good friends just had built (the same friends that were just married a couple months back). They had a live band and everything so it was good times. Unfortunately I couldn’t stay real long… Who has a party on a Tuesday??

On the way into this party I drilled a skunk… again. This is the 2nd time in the last 6 months or so that I have hit a skunk head on and my vehicle is ensconced in its deathly odor. Unlike last time where I hit a dead one on the freeway, this time I murdered the rodent at a cool 70Mph. At least it was painless.

I think that covers everything in the title?! Back to work ;)

So does your car smell like skunk again?
