I’ve got something, and it goes thumping like this…
Posted by Markus Langenfeld - 11/11/05 at 11:11:58 pmAnother full week for me, if I had to ballpark it would have to be around 65 hours. I’ve been searching for another job; In fact I have an interview with UPS on Monday morning although I’m not looking forward to it because I have to work the night before… But I’m not going to sit here and rant about my job, I do that far too often.
I’ve managed to complete my laptop mount and GPS setup in my van. The GPS I picked up is the DeLorme Street Atlas USA 2006 with the Earthmate GPS receiver. So far it’s proven to be a real slick setup, I haven’t had the chance to use it in a real world situation yet but I’ve tracked my trips to work and such and it does a great job. I’m looking forward to getting lost and using it to find my way. I’m amazed how accurate it is; the software has a reading of my MPH that’s no more then 1-2 MPH off when traveling down the highway. Also the mapping software it came with seems to be up to date and accurate and it includes some killer features like voice prompts, ‘Night Mode’, Voice command options and a large ‘next turn’ display. If your looking for a GPS solution for your laptop I would highly suggest this one, it seems to have many features the Microsoft GPS setup lacks. I’ll have some pictures of my new Mobile Command Center posted in the gallery soon so be sure to check back.
Sony’s Rootkit Saga continues.

Homemade Sony commercial
Posted by Markus Langenfeld - 11/06/05 at 10:11:24 pmThis commercial is extremely cool, and if someone told me it was made by a 18 year old guy from Minneapolis, I wouldn’t believe them. Amazing stuff!
** I had to digg this one, the creator is from my home state! **
Internet Explorer Tab Firefox Plugin
Posted by Markus Langenfeld - 11/02/05 at 10:11:42 pmthis is a new firefox extension.
to use it, just right click a link and choose “open this link in ie tab” you’ve now opened internet explorer in a tab of firefox!
this is great for the occasional times when a page doesn’t work correctly in firefox, downloading windows updates, or designing a web page- since you can easily see how your webpage displays in IE with just one click and then switch back to Firefox.
